NFL Rankings - 22 Sep

Week two of the NFL season was one of the most difficult to predict in several years, with double-digit underdogs winning multiple games over the weekend. The only team that has seemed impervious to the upset bug so far is New England, which is back at #1 after winning in Buffalo decisively on Sunday. Here are this week's full rankings:

The team that rose the furthest to reach the top 5 this week was the first team that New England beat this year, the Pittsburgh Steelers. Pittsburgh lost a close game at Foxboro to open the season, then took out their frustration on San Francisco in their home opener, winning by 25 points against a team that looked good in week one. The suspensions of LeVeon Bell and Martavis Bryant to open the season ended up not being a huge deal, and the Steelers look like an easy pick for a playoff berth.

Arizona joined the top 10 this week on the strength of the largest average margin of victory in the entire league through 2 weeks. Unfortunately for the Cardinals, that is paired with the weakest strength of schedule so far, with both wins coming against teams in the bottom 3, but you can't dispute the fact that they dominated both opponents.
