NFL Rankings - 7 Oct

The opening month of the NFL season has been crazy, with all of the preseason favorites losing in confusing fashion at least once, which leaves the top spot open this week for the biggest surprise of the early season, the Indianapolis Colts, who were not projected to even get close to the playoffs this year, with Giants reject Daniel Jones starting at quarterback, but they have proven everybody wrong so far. Houston sits at #2, despite a losing overall record, thanks to playing in the strongest overall division so far, and riding the momentum of a blowout road win against the Ravens, a game which they were picked to lose, even with Lamar Jackson out with an injury. Here are my full current rankings and playoff picks:

NFL Preseason Rankings

The NFL returns tomorrow with the defending champion Eagles hosting their rivals, the Dallas Cowboys, but the Eagles are not my pick to win the title this year. After working through all of the roster changes, as well as this season's schedule, I've projected how good each team will be, and how many wins that will translate to this season. Here are my full preseason rankings, as well as my picks for the playoffs:
