NFL Rankings - 3 Nov

For the seventh week in a row, the New England Patriots sit atop the weekly NFL rankings, and at this point there is no real competition for the top spot. Even if the Patriots were to lose a close game to a good team, they would probably still be sitting at the top. Their biggest test will come at Denver on Thanksgiving weekend, with their road game against the Jets also looking like a possible loss. It's hard to see them losing any other game, and they also have an 18.6% chance of winning them all this year. Here are this week's full rankings:

Denver made one of the biggest moves of the week after they took down the Packers in the battle of the unbeatens on Sunday Night Football, and did it impressively. Peyton Manning looked like his old self, even without throwing a touchdown pass, and the running attack looked stronger than it had at any point earlier in the season, while the defense continues to dominate, no matter the opponent, as evidenced by the worst game in the great career of Aaron Rodgers.

Atlanta took a big drop this week after hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, ranked last in the league last week, and somehow managed to lose to them in overtime. This should have been the easiest win of the season for the Falcons, who now have two losses, but they have the easiest schedule in the league overall this season, so they should still make the playoffs if they show up to play most weeks.
