#1 Michigan had the week off, and though the two teams directly behind them had good performances, neither did enough to overtake the Wolverines at the top. Oregon jumped up to #5 after demolishing Utah on the road, and Notre Dame reached the top 10 after a 58-7 win over Pitt, just one week after blowing out USC.
