The last two undefeated teams both went down on Sunday, leading many to argue over which team is currently the best in the NFL. Using the numbers, the answer is clear: San Francisco is still the best team in the league by far. They lost by 2 points to one of the best teams in the league, which does not merit dropping from the top spot.
