The hottest team of the week was the Toronto Raptors yet again. Our neighbors to the north went 4-0 this week, including a win over Indiana, which gave them a huge win for the second straight week, matching last week's victory over Oklahoma City. DeMar DeRozan has been on fire lately, averaging over 20 ppg this season and doing it 4 times during their current 5-game winning streak.
The 76ers were also hot this week, winning three games on their 4-game Western swing, and although none of the three are true playoff contenders, Philadelphia had been the worst team in the league coming in to those games. They have moved up a spot, but don't expect the hot streak to continue tonight when they visit Portland, because the Blazers are the only one of the top teams that hasn't been struggling.
You can't mention cold teams anymore without mentioning Denver, who spends their 3rd straight week as the coldest team in the league. The Nuggets were one of Philly's victims this week, losing by 12 at home to the league's worst team, and they finally snapped their 8-game losing streak last night with a nailbiter of a victory against Memphis.
