This week's hottest team was appropriately the Heat. They won all three of their contests, including 2 on the road, and were able to overcome 43 points by Blake Griffin in LA to take down the Clippers on Wednesday. The All-Star break will break up their 6-game Western road trip, but they've still got some tough games coming up out here.
The Mavericks matched Miami this week with a 3-0 record, but their wins came by an average of 18 points, pretty good considering the trip to Memphis in the middle. Dallas moved past Minnesota into the final spot in my playoff picture this week, and with the way the Wolves struggle in close games, they may just hold on to it.
Phoenix was pretty good last week, winning 5 games in 7 days, but this week they went cold losing at home to Chicago before getting blown out in Houston the next night. The Suns are still the biggest positive surprise of the season and should make the playoffs, but only if they don't have too many more weeks like this one.
