With this week's serious injury to Jamal Murray, Nikola Jokic will have to take on even more of the load on a team that was already heavily dependent on him. If he is able to keep the Nuggets in the top 4 in the West, I don't see a way that he doesn't win the MVP, because right now the race for best player isn't even close, so if he is able to translate that into enough wins, it would be wrong to give the award to anyone else.
