NCAA Football Rankings - 22 Nov

 Many would expect Ohio State to move up in the rankings after beating Indiana yesterday, but instead the Buckeyes plummeted in this week's rankings, dropping out of the top 25 completely, even though they remain undefeated. That is because the Buckeyes have played enough this season for us to get a picture of how good they are, meaning last season's data has now been completely pulled from their rating, and the picture isn't as good as expected. They have had solid victories over two terrible teams at home, Nebraska and Rutgers, along with a somewhat close win over a terrible team on the road, Penn State. Yesterday's win over previously undefeated Indiana was closer than expected, and the Hoosiers' undefeated record was a mirage as well, with a miracle last-second win over that terrible Penn State team, along with wins over the horrible Michigan schools and Rutgers. BYU slipped a couple of spots due to a significant drop in their strength of schedule after beating North Alabama, but the Cougars are still projected to easily finish undefeated and have a shot at making the playoff as the 4th team after Clemson, Alabama, and the Big 10 champ (Northwestern?)
