College Football Rankings - Final

The college football season has come to an end, and once again, a team from Alabama has won the BCS Championship. And, for the first time ever, I picked the correct winner in the national title game, which has eluded me the last 3 years. Heading into the postseason, Oregon was my top-ranked team, and with a solid win over Kansas State in the Fiesta Bowl, they were hoping to maintain that spot, but two SEC teams were even more impressive in victory ended up in the top spots. Here are my final rankings of the season, with AP ranking in parentheses and teams grouped by similar level of performance.

Only two teams from the non-AQ conferences ended up in the top 25 to close the season, and both come from the state of Utah - BYU and Utah State. Northern Illinois was the next closest to breaking in, ending the season at #31.
