NFL Rankings - 13 Oct

New England strengthened their position at the top of the rankings this week with a blowout road win against Dallas, which had still been playing well lately despite numerous injuries, and it's now looking like the Patriots could even make a run at another undefeated season, with my formula currently putting the odds at 20.5%. Here are each team's current rankings:

Green Bay has now won 4 games in a row by 10-14 points, which is interesting because that streak has included wins over both Seattle and San Francisco. The Packers are still unbeaten, but they are not projected to earn the top seed in the NFC, because another undefeated team, Atlanta, happens to be the only team with an easier schedule than Green Bay this season.

Pittsburgh is 3-2 after upsetting San Diego on the road last night on a walk-off TD by Le'Veon Bell, but they could just as easily have been 4-1, but they lost a close one against rival Baltimore last week. They are back in the top 5 and are the only team in that group with multiple losses, but one of those came at New England on opening day, and they lost by a single touchdown, the closest anyone has come to beating the champs so far.
