Ohio State dropped out of the AP top 25 this week after getting blown out at home by Wisconsin last night, but people should keep an eye on this Buckeye team over the next month. They are projected to be a #8 seed in the tournament, which makes them very scary, since they have the talent of a #3 seed, so they could be the first team to knock out a #1 this year.

Texas is no longer receiving any votes in the AP Poll, which is mostly due to them having a losing record in the conference, but they play in the Big 12, the toughest league top-to-bottom in the entire country, and they managed to get a couple wins against the top teams in the conference, while keeping it close in several others. Since they are currently looking like they are right on the edge of being selected, I see a deep run in the conference tourney for the Longhorns, and perhaps a surprise conference title.
