Fantasy Football Rankings - Week 2

Last week I released my initial fantasy football rankings, and the results were pretty good at most positions. Five of the top 10 fantasy quarterbacks last week were in my top 10, and 8 were in my top 15. At running back I had 16 of the top 25 in my top 25, the best I did at any position. 9 of the top 25 wide receivers were in my top 25, which was lower than I had hoped, and I had only 3 of the top 10 tight ends in my top 10, but 6 in my top 15. Only 2 of my top 10 kickers ended up in the top 10, along with 4 defenses, but these numbers should all increase throughout the season as more current data becomes available, since a lot of last week's rankings were based on data from 2014. Here are my position-by-position rankings for this week:

Matt Ryan is going up against the Giants' defense this week, which gave up 356 yards and 3 touchdowns to Tony Romo last week, even with Dez Bryant missing a chunk of the game due to injury. With Julio Jones in his arsenal, Ryan should go off this week.

Antonio Brown had 133 yards and a touchdown in week one, and though San Francisco hasn't allowed a touchdown this season, they'll struggle to keep Brown from the end zone.

Travis Kelce had 106 yards and two touchdowns in week one, and Denver has always given up a lot of fantasy points to tight ends. It also helps that Kelce is by far the best receiving weapon for Kansas City, which does not score points from the wide receiver position.

Brandon McManus was not drafted in most fantasy leagues this year, but I put him at #1 last week, and he delivered with 18 fantasy points, including the first game with more than one 56-yard-plus field goal in NFL history. This week he faces a tough Chiefs defense, which means more field goals than touchdowns for the Broncos.

The Rams defense played well last week against the Seattle Seahawks, although they gave up some points late in the game, but this week they face the Redskins, who have a weak offense that gives up a lot of turnovers.
