The San Francisco 49ers have been ranked as one of the top 2 teams in my rankings for the entire season, even during their 3-game losing streak in the middle of the season. Kansas City, meanwhile, spent most of the season ranked around #6, rising to their highest point of the season last week after upsetting Baltimore, which placed them at #3. Even though San Francisco is still projected to be 4 points better than the Chiefs, the fact that the 49ers have underperformed expectations in each of their past 5 games, while the Chiefs have played better than expected in four of the last 5, leads me to pick:
Kansas City 26, San Francisco 16
