NCAA Basketball Rankings - 5 Jan

Michigan maintained their large lead on the rest of the field as 2025 came to an end, with a 13-0 overall record after their first three conference games are in the books. Purdue jumped 4 spots to land at #4, behind a blowout of Kent State and a strong road win at Wisconsin. Two SEC teams, Arkansas and LSU, joined the top 25 this week, pushing out the two non-Gonzaga mid-majors, Saint Louis and Utah State. Here are my full current rankings:
