NFL Rankings - 24 Oct

The Philadelphia Eagles now have the best record in the league by themselves, thanks to their victory over Washington last night and Kansas City's loss last Thursday, but the Eagles actually dropped a spot in the rankings this week, which seems a little backwards. The reason for the drop is that Philly's first 6 opponents had a combined 1-5 record in week 7, meaning that their strength of schedule took a major hit. Even with two straight losses, the Chiefs are still the top team in the league, but there is now a lot more competition at the top than in recent weeks.
